Thank you, no breeding yet. Moved the male and the female that seemed most flirty to a 15ga with heavy leaf litter. They are now eating pellets with white worms at night. Very rare species in my parts so getting more will be a waiting game

I kept rams in higher temps and they lasted no time, 80 degrees, they are doing awesome. I added the rams last. They are little piggies, but high quality.
i keep apistogramma gephra and german rams with a pair of bettas, but its ina 40ga 6 foot tank. lots of hiding places too,with obstructions using driftwood. floating plants and java ferns/
Sand has 0 effect on my water parameters. Tested for copper and none there. Put my othr wild pair of apisto cacatuiodies in there, boom, spawning activity. Pic to come!

Got some nice sand from local beach, shoved it from an area nice ways inland so its been flushed with loads of fresh rain water, gonna test it and cycle it before adding apistos.
