I find leaving the fry in a the breeding tank a bit too long, water changing and triggering the parents to spawn again and ' hay presto ' all the previous fry just disappear.
But personally I would just give a friend a bunch of the fry to raise.
The odd spawning site wasn't just for show. Here is a couple of pics of the proud parents and fry.

Briz,
I have only 1 pair of each species and we know how that can change in an instant. It would be...
I had an interesting discovery with my P.rolofi. They are very shy and rarely stay out of shelter and never come out and swim around when I'm in the room. The tank is small and has little cover so it's not of any great surprise about their habits.
What was a surprise was their choice of...
I have to agree with you, the Ivanocara adokita are just stunning. They are one of the best patterned fish I have ever set eyes on. If you can get them do so.
Mine are not too demanding with food and water conditions and are not shy at all.
Here is a couple of pics of them.

I feed two times a day.
Earthworm flake in the mornings.
The night feeds are a random affair. Each night may be different. Daphnia, brine shrimp, spirulina brine shrimp, rotifers.
Fry get two feeds, randomly,
Newly hatched brine shrimp, micro worms, daphnia.
These are the my Pelvicachromis roloffi.
Sorry for the soft light pics but these guys still have not settled down and hide when ever you look into the tank.
Not a problem Ruki,
I do the water changes manually with a good old hose. No magic pipes.
Filling is from a 1000L tub of rain water with another hose attached to a sump pump.
Cheers

Mike, I forgot about the ease of sterilizing them. I usually just drop them into boiling water before moving them into a new tank. I also use PVC in all my tanks as well for the same reason.
My room isn’t anything exiting. It measures 6m long x 1.7m wide a 1.6m high. The walls and roof are...
