  • A. trifasciata have a very typical disposition for Apistogramma. They are not aggressive in my opinion. Most problems arise when the tank is too small or there is a big difference in size or both.
    I just happened to check the forum and saw your message.
    My white/gold cacatuoides fizzled out on me.
    I am only trying to breed some A. trifasciata at the moment. They are being as cooperative as they normally are for some reason.
    The white/golds are a weak strain of cacatuoides, the weakest of all their many varieties. You see that a lot among those which have been bred into many different color forms over the years.
