Hi, new to this forum!
I've had my betta for about a month now, and he's my first tropical fish that requires a heater! I had gouramis and angel fish when I lived in Fiji.
Besides the point.
I just did a water change and added new substrate (black fluorite by sea chem) and it got superrrr cloudy. I have him in a sizeable jug that's floating in the tank so he doesn't get temperature shock. But he seems to be a bit stressed as he's jumping. I feel as though the water is to cloudy and I have my filter on.
What do I do?
I don't want to do water changes as I don't want to get rid of his previous tank water that is already mixed in with new treated tank water.
Thanks!
